Spanish artist Daniel Argimón was introduced to the world of art by his grandfather in his printer’s studio.
His work, initially expressionist, gradually became informal, giving more and more importance to the materials, to the collages, to finally move towards an informal expressionism.
He received the Maillol Prize from the French Institute in Barcelona in 1965, a prize which enabled him to study lithography in Paris.
His work can be found today in museums and collections in Europe and the United States.
